Hello Dr. Sir I am planning to do MBBS from Italy but am from India...so do i need licence from india to apply for usmle or not? Can I show italy licence or licence is not at all required?
Hello doctor…..I am doing my MBBS from russia…..is it mandatory for me to clear NeXT exam for appearing in USMLE…please reply
Memory loss, confusion, body feels weird, problems talking is the pits.
Sir aapka Surname bada funny hain XD... No offence, the video was very informative
Hello Dr. Sir how much time do these rotation takes to get 3 LORs ? And are they paid or we have to pay and around how much?
I sir i have got 580 in neet , i will most probably take private mbbs which will cost about 60-65 lakh , though i belong to middle class family i want to go to usa and become doctor there , what should be my plan from 1st year to clear usmle, it will cost me 20-25 lakh more , i am not in aiims or kmc so will it cause problem bcz college tag matters here ? Plz guide 🙏
Sir a very basic doubt --- Will do MBBS and in between 6 year of mbbs we will give usmle then how can we build clinic experiences.Infact We are doing PG to build clinical experience .
All your seizure videos are very helpful while teaching students. Thank you dr.
East or west India is best❤❤❤
love this soo much and much appreciation to the participants
All the steps should be P/F. Medicine is beyond ranking, a high scoring Dr is not necessarily a good Dr.
If u wanted to do an MBA then why the hell did you pursue a career in medicine. One more thing I want to add here is that US healthcare is one of the worst in the developed world not the best!! It's all about corporate medicine controlled by big pharma and heal insurance cartels. Physicians are just corporate slaves in America especially if they are working as a hospitalist.
Thank you for your comment. It seems like you may be upset with some of the circumstances and things you might have experienced or heard. It is all about perspective, I hope you are happy at wherever you are working!
Does medical intership is mandatory for Matching?
It depends on your college, my college required 1 year mandatory internship before they issued the diploma
After we clear our usmle exam we get into residency program for eg i get into cardiologist residency program which is of three years.. do i get paid for all the years or just last year??
You cannot directly get into cardiology, you have to do 3 years of internal medicine residency first before Cardiology fellowship. You you get paid directly
@@ApurvaPopat Thanks for the info.. one more question do we get paid during internal medicine residency or we have to pay fees??
U r underestimating PG
I never intended to. I apologise if you felt that way.
That ‘do!!
I am trying to learn. To me this looks like focal clonus, is that right? Is there such a thing as focal tonic-clonic seizures? I'm so confused...
Hi, I am a 3rd year medical student. Now I want to prepare for USMLE step 1 from scratch. Could you please guide me how to prepare for the exam??
Definitely, please contact me on Instagram.
Then 33×60min=1,980 Why 100cc/60min=1.6cc/min?
We have to calculate per minute
My Dad passed away 😢 after a severe seizure attack and he suffered from frequent and multiple seizures during his life time
I am so sorry about your loss☹️. May God give you all the strength.
Hello sir , I have completed my MBBS with 1 year internship in 2023 I was preparing for neet pg and also applied for a job as a medical officer I WILL BE JOINING IN NEAR FUTURE , WHAT WOULD BE BETTER FOR ME, SHOULD I get into RESIDENCY in INDIA and LATER write usmle and get through ALTERNATE ENTRY PATHWAY or should I work as a MEDICAL OFFICER and PARALLEL STUDY for USMLE and come to USA , at present I can't ask MONEY for usmle from my parents , your suggestion will help me make a decision quit NEET PG OR WORK as MEDICAL OFFICER AND PREPARE FRESH FOR USMLE AND DO RESIDENCY IN USA ? PLEASE DO REPLY .THANK YOU 🙏
Hello @khiresnehal8704, Your decision ultimately depends on your personal circumstances and goals. If you have immediate financial needs, starting a job as a medical officer might be beneficial as it will provide you with income while you prepare for the USMLE. However, if there are no pressing financial concerns, focusing directly on preparing for the USMLE could help you achieve your goal of moving to the USA more quickly. Additionally, consider what environment you thrive in, as balancing work and study can be challenging but possible with proper planning. Ultimately, it's a personalized decision that you need to make based on your current situation and long-term career goals. Best of luck with whichever path you choose! Thank you.
@@ApurvaPopat sir what about doing residency in India and later writing usmle and entering USA through lateral entry pathway?
@@khairesnehal8704I am not sure about that dear
@@ApurvaPopat thank you sir for being patient and answering my queries , your videos are very helpfull ,thank you .

Will it be fine if I supplement my FA with bnb for a comprehensive understanding of the topic ?
Boards and beyond is too comprehensive. I would only write uworld in first aid.

Hi Dr., your video is encouraging. I have passed my MBBS from India in 2000 and completed my MS Anatomy in 2006. I have heard from somewhere that after such a huge gap, US Medical colleges do not give credits for foreign medical courses, person has to do entire MBBS/MD all over again in the US, is that true?
This is not entirely true. However, some universities prefer graduates within five years, but I have seen many other candidates who have their years of graduation very old.
Epilepsy is a seizure that some times occur at a time that you are not aware please I wish to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ that we should always be prepared when going anywhere
🎉🎉🎉
Wonderful visualization thanks alot
Nice information sir 👍👍👍👍
Hello sir

Having finished MCh neurosurgery from a reputed medical college in Kerala,I plan to pursue a good fellowship in spine surgery in USA..preparing usmle step 1 ryt now..how hard wud it be? And how costly? Can u help sir?
Congratulations on your achievement. You might have to aim for neurosurgery here. I have seen IMGs in neurosurgery. It is challenging not impossible.
@@ApurvaPopat can I apply for a fellowship if I clear step 1 and 2?
